2026 ECR Paving Project
HA5 Pavement Preservation Project – Road Closure Reminder & Alternate Routes ![]()
As we get closer to the start of the HA5 pavement preservation project, we encourage everyone to review the maps and closure schedule for your section and plan ahead.
Each section will be fully closed for approximately 24 hours while the pavement treatment is applied and allowed to cure. This is necessary to ensure the product performs as designed and provides the longest possible life for our roads.
Alternate Routes
Please plan for alternate routes on days when portions of the main roads are closed:
* Mountain Shadow area: If one end of Eagle Heights Drive is closed, you may be able to use Horse Run Drive to reach the opposite end of the community, or vice versa, depending on the day’s closure.
* Eagle Mountain Drive / Eagle Ridge Drive area: The fire access road will remain open for resident access during applicable closures. Please use extreme caution when traveling this road. It is narrow and will have two-way traffic. We recommend a maximum speed of 5 MPH and ask everyone to watch carefully for vehicles traveling in both directions.
* Running Roses area: Please review the neighborhood side streets that connect to Running Roses Lane, allowing you to exit via Quiet Loop or Wrangler Way, depending on your location and the day’s closure.
Main Intersections
To help minimize disruptions, some of the main intersections will be completed one-half at a time over two days, allowing traffic to continue moving through those locations.
Unfortunately, this phasing is not possible within the neighborhood streets due to the way the HA5 treatment must be applied and allowed to cure. However, this approach will help ensure the community entrances are not completely blocked during the project.
Parking During Closures
If you need to use your vehicle during your street’s closure, you may park on streets outside of the active work area.
Please help keep the neighborhood safe by:
* Parking as close to the curb as possible.
* Parking in the direction of traffic.
* Not blocking driveways, mailboxes, fire hydrants, or intersections.
* Being courteous to your neighbors and emergency access.
Friday Trash Pickup
If your street is scheduled for Friday, Republic Services will begin trash collection at approximately 5:00 AM. Please have your trash and recycling containers at the curb the night before to ensure they are collected before the road closure begins.
Drive Slowly
Please remember that many residents will be using alternate routes they don’t normally travel. Slow down throughout the neighborhood, watch for pedestrians, children, cyclists, and other vehicles, and be patient as everyone adjusts to the temporary traffic patterns.
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and planning ahead. While the closures will be a temporary inconvenience, this project will significantly extend the life of our roads and help protect one of the community’s largest assets for years to come. If you have any questions about your specific street or closure date, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
